Aristurtle Racing Team
Aristurtle, is the student research team of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, that designs, develops and builds electric race cars. Aristurtle is the Greek Electric Vehicle Formula Student team with the most participations and distinctions in international FSAE competitions.
SpaceDot
SpaceDot is a non-profit, volunteering and interdisciplinary student team, supported by the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh). The team was founded in December 2020 and consists of more than 40 students from AUTh and other universities across Greece and Europe. Their goal is to pave the way for innovative research on space applications.
A.S.A.T.
A.S.A.T. (Aristotle Space & Aeronautics Team) is the first Aerospace student team in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. It was founded in November 2015 and their primary goal was to construct an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) to represent the team in the Air Cargo Challenge 2017. Today Aeronautics project is representing the team for the 4th time in Air Cargo Challenge 2024.
Centaurus Racing Team
Centaurus Racing Team was founded in 2009 by undergraduate students from the Mechanical Engineering Department of the University of Thessaly and for 15 years they deal with the design and construction of single-seater Formula cars. So far, the team has participated in 22 competitions all over the world. Regarding this year’s racing season, starting in Austria at Red Bull Ring, Centaurus Racing took the 3rd place in Mechanical Design Event and 2nd place in Cost & Manufacturing Event.
Panther Racing AUTh
Panther Racing Auth was founded in January of 2017, by students of the faculty of Mechanical Engineering and is the first university team of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki whose aim is to design and construct an original Moto 3 type, racing motorcycle.
Democritus Racing Team
Democritus Racing Team – DRT was founded in 2017 in Xanthi. The team represents the Democritus University of Thrace in the Formula Student and FSAE (Formula Society of Automotive Engineers) engineering training events, facing students from all over the world.
VROOM Team
The VROOM team was founded in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and is focused on developing autonomous driving solutions for scaled vehicles.
Poseidon Racing Team
Poseidon Team, consisting of undergraduate students from the University of West Attica, is the only team in Europe running two parallel programs, Project Racing and Project Eco, while developing three single-seater vehicles. In Project Racing, since 2023, the team has developed 3 race cars and from 2024 onwards Poseidon Racing went full electric. In Project Eco, the team targets new energy-efficiency records with its multi-award-winning Orca, while also developing a hydrogen-powered city vehicle for Shell Eco-marathon and competing in autonomous software development challenges.
