Action «Digital Step»

Τhe enterprise KENOTOM I.KE. based in Central Macedonia region, has joined the Action “Digital Step” with a total budget of 84 million €. The Action aims at the digital upgrading of very small, small and medium – sized enterprises.
The investment’s total budget is 50.000,00€ out of which 25.000,00€ is public expenditure. The Action is cofinanced
by Greece and the European Union – European Regional Development Fund.

The approved investment plan that was implemented includes the following categories of investment:

• Procurement and installation of ICT equipment
• Software for office applications, web development, e-shop services etc.
• Digital services (Digital advertising, e –security certifications, data entry and transfer etc.)

Through its participation in the Action, the enterprise achieved:

Τhe enterprise KENOTOM PRIVATE COMPANY, which is headquartered in the Region of Central Macedonia, was co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Union for the implementation of its project under the Action “Investment Plans of Innovation“ in the Region of Central Macedonia, under the framework of the Operational Program “Central Macedonia 2014-2020”.
The Action aims to assist enterprises and research organizations in implementing research projects.
Investment’s total budget is 183.590,00 € out of which 143.846,75€ is public expenditure. The Action is co-financed by Greece and the European Union – European Regional Development Fund.
The approved investment plan that was implemented includes the following categories of investment:

• Staff costs
• Expenses of Instruments & research equipment
• Additional overheads and other operating expenses

The enterprise KENOTOM PRIVATE COMPANY, which is headquartered in the Region of Central Macedonia, was co‐financed by the European Regional Development Fund of the European Union and Greek national funds through the Operational Program Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, under the call “RESEARCH – CREATE – INNOVATE” for the following projects:

The Action aims to link research and innovation with entrepreneurship and enhance the competitiveness, productivity and extroversion of products to markets, in order to transition to quality business activity and innovation and to increase domestic value added.

Action «RESEARCH – CREATE – INNOVATE» – CultureID (Project code : Τ2ΕΔΚ-02000)

The enterprise KENOTOM PRIVATE COMPANY, which is headquartered in the Region of Central Macedonia, was co‐financed by the European Regional Development Fund of the European Union and Greek national funds through the Operational Program Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, under the call “RESEARCH – CREATE – INNOVATE”.

The project seeks to highlight and integrate new technologies, such as the Internet of Things, Robotics, Big Data Analysis and Artificial Intelligence in Culture. As part of the project, our team has integrated RFID technology in the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki, creating the necessary conditions for interaction with the exhibits, staff and visitors. Αll movements of antiquities are tracked and automatically recorded in a newly designed software. The new software allows the digitization and monitoring of all information related to the exhibits. Through RFID technology, an original audio-visual tour is given to the visitors’ mobile devices, according to their location, while traffic statistics are recorded and displayed to the Museum’s personnel. A prototype social robot has been designed, built and has been operating since February 2023. The robot welcomes students every day and plays discovery/knowledge games with them about the Museum’s exhibits. At the same time, a portable RFID reader aids the players in solving the puzzles, interacting with the surrounding exhibits. Artificial intelligence technology was developed in the robot, which is able to discuss with visitors and share with them its knowledge about the Museum’s most popular exhibits.

Action «Modernization of Very Small, Small and Medium Sized Trade and service Providers»

The enterprise KENOTOM PRIVATE COMPANY, which is headquartered in the Region of Central Macedonia, was cofinanced by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF of the European Union for the implementation of its project under the Action “Modernization of Very Small, Small and Medium Sized Trade and service Providers“ in the Region of Central Macedonia, under the framework of the Operational Program “Central Macedonia 2014-2020“.

The Action aims to assist small and medium-sized enterprises in implementing investment projects to modernize their organization and operation, and improving their position in the domestic and international market.

The total investment budget is 100.000,00€, of which public expenditure is 50.000,00€.

Action «Innovation Vouchers for small, micro and medium-sized enterprises of the Region of Central Macedonia»

The enterprise KENOTOM with headquarters in the Region of Central Macedonia,  was co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Union (ΕΕ) for the implementation of its project under the Action “Innovation Vouchers for small, micro and medium-sized enterprises of the Region of Central Macedonia”, under the framework of the Operational Program «Central Macedonia» 2014-2020..

The Action is aimed at empowering small, micro and medium-sized enterprises, through the purchase of innovative consulting services and transfer of know-how from recognized Innovation Institutes, in order to develop innovative products / services or operation processes and improve the quality of their products / services.

Ιnvestment’s total budget is 10.000,00 € (100% public expenditure). The Action is co-financed by Greece and the European Union – European Regional Development Fund.

Through participation in the Action, the company achieved:

Action «Technology Vouchers for Small and Micro Enterprises in the Region of Central Macedonia»

Τhe enterprise KENOTOM PC with headquarters in the Region of Central Macedonia, was co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Union for the implementation of its project under the Action “Technology Vouchers for small and micro enterprises of the Region of Central Macedonia “.

The Action is aimed at empowering small and micro enterprises, through the purchase of innovative ICT applications, in order to strengthen the ICT implementation strand, as key support technology, to achieve improvements in productivity terms and promotional activities.

Action «Upgrading micro and small businesses to develop their capabilities in new markets»

Τhe enterprise KENOTOM PRIVATE COMPANY based in CENTRAL MACEDONIA region, has joined the Action “Upgrading micro & small businesses to develop their skills in new markets” with a total budget of 310 million €. The Action aims at the upgrading of the competitive position of very small and small enterprises.

The investment’s total budget is 145.379,65 € out of which 72.689,83 €  is public expenditure. The Action is co-financed by Greece and the European Union – European Regional Development Fund..
The approved investment plan that was implemented includes the following categories of investment:

• Buildings, other facilities and surrounding area
• Machinery – Equipment
• Intangible expenses
• Wage costs for personnel (current and /or new employees)
