- OS and Low-Level Software Development for microcontrollers and ASICs: Bare-metal real-time software development, MISRA ECSS-Q-ST-80C, multicore architectures, HW interfacing, device drivers for critical interfaces.
- Application Software & Model Based Development: on-board Systems for power control, motor control & battery management, flash & non-volatile memory control, diagnostics and safety.
- EGSE and HiL/Mil/SiL setups: Specification, setup, commissioning of testing systems using dSPACE devices, system-level modelling and plant simulations of the testing environment, signal conditioning & fault Injection.
- Electronics Design and Validation for Space and Mission-Critical Systems: PCB design, requirements, SPICE simulations, FMEA/FMEDA/DFA/FTA Analyses, space-qualified multi-layer electronics, signal integrity, assembly validation.

Motor Controllers
Our engineering expertise includes the development of fault-tolerant and hot-redundant motor-driver architectures for mission-critical space mechanisms. These solutions follow a modular HW/SW design approach and are implemented according to ECSS practices, ensuring compliance, reliability, and scalability for space-grade systems.

Battery Management Systems (BMS)
KENOTOM provides solutions for the design and integration of modular, high-reliability Battery Management System architectures for lithium-ion–based energy storage. Our expertise covers safe-operation strategies, performance optimization, lifetime extension, and the development of state-of-the-art measurement, balancing, and energy-management techniques tailored to the stringent requirements of space missions.

ADAS PNT
We combine our ADAS know-how from the automotive industry with our expertise from the space sector in order to propose the direction of the future of PNT systems. Kenotom leads this program. This effort is part of a competitive European Space Agency (ESA) tender, awarded to Kenotom as Prime Contractor, aiming to define the strategic direction of next-generation navigation technologies.
